Biography

Steven Reuther was born on November 2, 1951 in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA. He was a producer and production manager, known for Pretty Woman (1990), Face/Off (1997) and Striking Distance (1993). He was married to Natalie Zimmerman and Helen Shaver. He died on June 5, 2010 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

Second husband of Helen Shaver.

Began his career working in the mail-room at the William Morris Talent Agency and went on to become an executive at Galactic Films, where he worked as an executive producer on Dirty Dancing (1987).

Formed, with Michael Douglas, Douglas/Reuther Productions. Served as company president between 1994 and 1999.

Graduated from the American College of Switzerland.
