Bing'er Ren was born in 1930 in Guangzhou, Nanhai County, Guangdong Province, Hong Kong. She is an actress, known for Wuqing baojian youqing tian (1964), Jutian xuannü (1959) and The Purple Hairpin (1959). She was previously married to Yanzi Shi.

She was discouraged from acting by her older sister, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0719099/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Kim-Fai Yam</a>.

She prefers playing maids. Her puritanical character in Wuqing baojian
youqing tian (1964) is her most notable complex character.
