Irving Reis was born on 7 May 1906 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a director and writer, known for The Four Poster (1952), The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (1947) and I'm Still Alive (1940). He was married to Minadora (Vanessa) Karole Idu and Meta Rosenberg. He died on 3 July 1953 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Educated at Columbia University. Founded and directed CBS Radio&#39;s
Columbia Workshop in the 1930s.

Received numerous awards for his pioneering work in radio drama, including honors from the National Radio Committee for &quot;Half-Pint Flask&quot;.

Under contract at RKO, 1940-48; 20th Century Fox, 1949.
