Biography

Diana and her family moved to Port Hope in 1996. Prior to that, they lived in Toronto and New York. An actor for over 25 years, she is most widely recognized for her leading roles on the television series Ready or Not (1993) and Riverdale (1997). A much sought after acting teacher, Ms. Reis has taught at The National Theatre of Canada, York University, George Brown College, Florida State University (Sarasota) and at her own studio: The Reis/McIssac Workshop for Professional Actors in Toronto. She is the Artistic Director of The First Stages Theatre Company where she acts and directs and where she most recently appeared with Michael Burgess in 'Love Letters' at the Capitol Theatre. A member of the Trinity Women's Guild, she is the chair of the Arts Enrichment Committee and is on the Executive Committee for Bear Fair. She is married to celebrated theatre director and teacher Kurt Reis. Their son Simon, a Trinity Scholar, is a member of the class of 2005.
