Biography

Joe Reichman was born on July 12, 1898 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He was an actor, known for Out of This World (1945), Stop That Dancin' Up There (1944) and Pagliacci Swings It (1944). He was married to Tommie Bradford and Mari Ann Hite. He died on April 7, 1970 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

Temperamental piano-playing bandleader of the 1930s, whose orchestra played at some of the top spots in the country, including the Waldorf Astoria, the Biltmore and the Cocoanut Grove. His best-known hit was Dancing with my Shadow (1934). Reichman quit the big band scene in the late 1940's to become a disc jockey in Dallas, Texas.
