- Ludwig Reiber was born on August 4, 1904 in Munich, Germany. He was a production designer and art director, known for Paths of Glory (1957), The Mountain Eagle (1926) and Das Parfüm der Mrs. Worrington (1925). He died on September 15, 1979 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

- To his well-known movies of the 20s for which he created the set belong Alfred Hitchcock's "The Pleasure Garden" (1925) as well as Hitchcock's "The Mountain Eagle" (1926).
