Jamie Redfern is a professional Australian entertainer and was the
founding team member of Young Talent Time, which was one of the most
successful phenomenons in the history of Australian television.
Jamie was voted Australia's "King of Pop" and best male vocalist, and was on numerous occasions called the best young singer and performer in the world by such legendary entertainment icons as Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis Junior, Johnny Carson, David Frost, Ginger Rogers, Roger Moore and Rock Hudson. Many American entertainers openly made it known that they believed the young Australian to possibly be the best boy singer and child performer of all time!
Jamie was the most successful child entertainer Australia had ever produced and amassed more awards and accolades than any young singer before him or since. To this day Jamie's recordings remain some of the highest selling Australian recordings of all time and he received an absolutely astounding 22 silver and 22 gold awards (equivilant to numerous platinum awards by today's standards). Jamie is now the director of The Australian Showbusiness Academy and Jamie Redfern's "Starmaker Centres" and hosts and produces his own version of Young Talent Time "Jamie Redfern's Rascals" for Foxtels Aurora Channel 183 in Australia. Redfern has also recently returned to the live concert circuit and is happily married to wife Judy who is a former dancer and model. Jamie and Judy have 2 beautiful little girls Hayley and Taylah who star with their dad in the "Rascals" TV show.
