Richard wrote the spec script 3,000 Miles To Graceland in 2001, starring Kevin Costner & Kurt Russel. In 2007 he wrote, directed & produced the short film Officer Down, which won Spike Lee's Babelgum Short Film Award in Cannes in 2008 for best picture. In 2011 Richard adapted Joe Kubert's DC graphic novel entitled Yossel, which was nominated for an Eisner Award.
