S. Ali Raza was born in 1922 in India. He was a writer and director, known for Saraswatichandra (1968), Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye (1974) and Jaanwar (1982). He was married to Nimmi. He died on 1 November 2007 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Frequently collaborated with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0006371/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Mehboob Khan</a>.

S.Ali Raza is the husband of Nimmi, a famous leading lady in Hindi Films from 1949-1965. The couple were in love for 15 years and then decided to marry in 1965. The marriage lasted for 42 years until Ali Raza&#39;s death in 2007.
