Biography

On April 30, 2006, Agnaldo had just returned from a concert and was ready to board a flight at Porto Alegre airport when he tripped and fell to the ground due to osteoporosis , fracturing the femur in his right leg . He was taken to the Hospital Mãe de Deus in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul , where he was hospitalized for a week and celebrated his 68th birthday at a party organized by the nuns who run the hospital's nursing service.

The peak of his career occurred in the 1960s , with his own programs on Rede Record , including Agnaldo RayoI Show and Corte RayoI Show , alongside comedian Renato Corte Real .

From the end of the 1950s , when his powerful adult voice stabilized, he established himself in his career, carrying on the imposed and operatic style common to singers of the previous generation, such as Vicente Celestino and Francisco Alves.

He was forced to stop singing between 1952 and 1954, due to hormonal changes typical of adolescence , which affected his voice.

Agnaldo Rayol was a Brazilian singer and actor.
