- On April 30, 2006, Agnaldo had just returned from a concert and was ready to board a flight at Porto Alegre airport when he tripped and fell to the ground due to osteoporosis , fracturing the femur in his right leg . He was taken to the Hospital Mãe de Deus in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul , where he was hospitalized for a week and celebrated his 68th birthday at a party organized by the nuns who run the hospital's nursing service.
