- Eddie Rayner was born on November 19, 1952 in Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. He is an actor and composer, known for Incident at Raven's Gate (1988), Rikky and Pete (1988) and The Big Steal (1990).
- Was the keyboardist for pop group 'Split Enz'.
- Formed 'The Makers', with Brian Baker, after Split Enz broke up. They released several albums and had a song on the soundtrack to The Big Steal.
- In 1996 Rayner released the album 'Enzso' which featured 17 orchestral arrangements of hit Split Enz songs. He recorded the songs with the New Zealand symphony orchestra in 1995. The album went platinum in Australia.
