- Carolyn Raskin was born in Iowa, USA. She was a producer and director, known for Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1967), Dinah! (1974) and Laugh Trax (1982). She died on September 24, 2024 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, USA.
- After attending the University of Iowa, Raskin moved to Los Angeles and started at CBS as a typist, one of the few jobs open to women who were just beginners in the television industry. She co-produced all three of Frank Sinatra's 1960s television specials and became associate producer and finally co-producer of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
