Her upcoming work can be seen as the make-up department head in Warner Bros' musical adaption of The Color Purple Reimagined, as well as in David E.     Rasheed's most recent credits include the film Three Months for Paramount+, as well as the Showtime series The First Lady, starring Viola Davis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Gillian Anderson, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Period and/or Character Makeup (Non-Prosthetic).

    Rasheed began her career in film and television as a makeup artist, where she worked on several feature films including Craig Brewer's 'Footloose,' Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Solace, starring Anthony Hopkins, and Dirty Grandpa, starring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron.

    Rasheed's credits as makeup department head include the Tupac biopic All Eyes on Me, Fist Fight, starring Ice Cube, Charlie Day and Tracy Morgan, and A24's Barely Lethal, starring Jessica Alba and Samuel L. Jackson. Additionally, her television credits include OWN's Delilah and Greenleaf and HBO's television movie The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, starring Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne.
