Jim Rash was born on July 15, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Way Way Back (2013), Community (2009) and The Descendants (2011).

The Descendants (2011) screenplay, written by Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, won a 2012 Oscar for best adapted screenplay.

Technology has changed, and we need to figure out how to improve the archaic way of what makes a hit, or how to determine how many viewers are watching beyond some people with Nielsen boxes in a small percentage of homes in random areas.
