Biography

José Raposo was born on February 3, 1963 in Dundo, Angola. He is an actor, known for Saint George (2016), Sunset: The Mystery of the Necklace of São Cajó (2023) and O Misterioso Caso De Lázaro Lafourcade (2023). He has been married to Sara Barradas since November 27, 2011. They have one child. He was previously married to Maria João Abreu.

Father with his first wife of two sons, named Miguel de Abreu Raposo (b. 31 March 1986) and Ricardo de Abreu Raposo (b. 1992).

Father with his second wife of one daughter, named Lua Barradas Raposo (b. 30 March 2019).

He and his wife are owners of a producer: Toca dos Raposos.

José worked in several theater plays like: "O Processo de Jesus", "O Último dos Marialvas", "Malaquias", "Os Portas" and "A Rainha do Ferro Velho".

His father Valdemar Balau Raposo died at the age of 76 on 17 August 2012. His mother was his wife Elisabete do Nascimento Sá. Has a younger brother, Paulo Sá Raposo (b. Dundo, Angola, 1969). The family lived in Dundo, Angola, then Portugal, until 1976, when they returned to Portugal, settling at the Parish of the Penha de França, in Lisbon.
