Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Kavi Ramachandran Ladnier is a seasoned actor, writer & producer who has over 29 years of experience working in theatre, film & television. Born in India and raised in the U.S. since she was a baby, Kavi was inspired to act at 5, by the little Indian girl at the end of The Jungle Book, and inspired to produce because she saw so few people that looked like her on the screen. Expanding the narrative about women in all of their WOMANITY, is part of her mission.

Kavi is an associate producer on the award winning feature East Bay in which she also stars with Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, Fresh Off The Boat). East Bay had a May 2024 57 theater North American release and is On Demand to rent/buy on all platforms.

Kavi was a principal recurring actor on Seasons 13 & 14 of CBS' top rated franchise NCIS: Los Angeles as Reserve Agent Shyla Dahr. She recurred as Reena on season one of Sex Lives of College Girls for HBO Max & will be rejoining the cast for season three! Kavi produced & starred in the feature Boris and The Bomb and starred in and produced the award winning short film Now And Never which marked the first film under her production company Art Heart Love Productions. Kavi is also producing and acting in the revenge thriller The Eighth Year (in pre-production).

Kavi moved to LA in 2005 after living in NYC for 13 years.

Received her BFA from NYU&#39;s Tisch School of the Arts.

Currently studies with Stuart Rogers, the award winning artistic
director of Theatre Tribe in North Hollywood. She is also a company
member of Theatre Tribe.
