Paul Rainer is known for Wege, die ins Dunkle führen (1916), Solvey (1918) and Reichsgräfin Gisela (1919).

The actor Paul Rainer was able to launch a brief but intensive film career in the silent movie era of the 10s.

After World War II followed few more appearances in front of the camera with "Die Millionen der Yvette" (1956), "Mazurka der Liebe" (1957) and an episode of the serial "Fernsehpitaval: Die Affäre Heyde-Sawade" (1963).

His tentatively last movie came in 1920 in to being with "Das Gesicht im Spiegel" (1920). It lasted 25 years before Paul Rainer continued his film career and he made his comeback with "Monte Miracolo" (1945).
