- Assi Rahbani was born on May 4, 1923 in Antelias, Matn, Mount Lebanon, Lebanon. He was a composer and writer, known for Hamido's Return (1971), Fatenat el-Jamahir (1964) and Biya el-Khawatim (1965). He was married to Fairuz. He died on June 21, 1986 in Lebanon.
