Zoe Quist is an award-winning American film director and producer, born and raised in Alaska. She began her career in front of the camera as a film and television actress before moving behind it to direct, develop, and produce her own projects.
Her first two features arrived back to back: the noir-styled thriller "Raw Cut" (2013) and the Alaska-set romantic drama "Mining for Ruby" (2017), starring Billy Zane, Mischa Barton, and Jonathan Bennett.
In 2025, Quist directed the paranormal sci-fi comedy "Glitched," starring Mischa Barton, Abigail O'Regan, Jack McEvoy, and Elijah Rowen. Filmed entirely on location in Ireland with Irish production company Bon Films, the film follows twin siblings whose VR game accidentally opens a portal to the supernatural. "Glitched" had its world premiere at the 2025 La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles, where Quist won the Best Feature Director award. The women-led production emphasized international collaboration and mentorship opportunities for emerging filmmakers.
