Her claim to fame was the hit single, "Two of Hearts", which reached number three on the Billboard charts in 1986! It would have topped the charts at number one if not for one slight problem... she was signed to both On The Spot Records and Atlantic Records at the same time and "Two of Hearts" was competing with itself because both labels were promoting it as a single at the very same time.

"Cinnamon" (her character from "The Facts of Life" in 1987) was so popular that a spin-off was planned especially for her... There was even talk of creating a "Cinnamon" Barbie Doll. Her record label at the time wanted her to focus solely on her music career and, therefore, the television sitcom never saw the light of day.

For her second and final appearance as the newly discovered pop star "Cinnamon" on "The Facts of Life" in 1987, the LP cover of her own "Better Than Heaven" album was converted into Cinnamon's "Colour Me Cinnamon" album. No one seems to know what happened to the faux LP covers but to this day they remain highly sought after by collectors.

Resides in California and is still active in the recording industry.

On January 31, 1987, she made her second and final appearance as the newly discovered pop star "Cinnamon" on "The Facts of Life". This was also the last appearance for the then barely known George Clooney who had played the character "George Burnett" since 1985. On the show, George and Cinnamon decided to date and George made the decision to become a roadie for Cinnamon's upcoming tour. Many of her fans kept their fingers crossed that a future episode or reunion show would bring the two stars back for a visit but the wish was never granted.
