Biography

Manuel Perez was born on June 17, 1914 in Morenci, Arizona, USA. He was a director and actor, known for The Lord of the Rings (1978), Rickety Rocket (1979) and Fritz the Cat (1972). He died on January 18, 1981 in Van Nuys, California, USA.

Mexican-American animator, primarily involved with Warner Brothers cartoons (from 1938). Did not get along with Friz Freleng, in whose unit he worked for ten years. He was a member of the the Screen Cartoonists Guild.
