Biography

Lionella Pyryeva was born on March 15, 1938 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. She is an actress, known for Volnyy veter (1961), Vystrel v tumane (1964) and Svet dalyokoy zvezdy (1965). She was previously married to Oleg Strizhenov and Ivan Pyrev.

Lionella Pyryeva is now a retired Soviet actress (Since 1987 she stopped acting in films). In 1957 she entered the acting department of the State Institute of Theatre Arts named after A. V. Lunacharsky (acting teachers O. N. Androvskaya and G. G. Konsky ), which she graduated from in 1961.

She graduated from school in Sakhalin, in the city of Kholmsk.

From 1961 to 1964 she was an actress at the K.S. Stanislavsky Drama Theatre.

She initially married the famous Soviet film director and screenwriter Ivan Pyryev, more than 36 years her senior.

In 1991, she was awarded the Honored Artist of the RSFSR award.
