Biography

Herbert Purdom was born on August 4, 1921 in Tuscarawas, Ohio, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Boston Blackie (1951), Jungle Jim (1955) and Target Hong Kong (1953). He died on April 16, 1993 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Purdom won a Spur Award in 1966 from the Western Writers of America for his novel "My Brother John.".
