- Aldo Puglisi was born on April 12, 1935 in Catania, Sicily, Italy. He was an actor, known for Seduced and Abandoned (1964), Marriage Italian Style (1964) and When Women Lost Their Tails (1972). He died on July 19, 2024 in Catania, Sicily, Italy.
- Puglisi has also dedicated many years to the theatre. Among his many shows are "The Courage of a Neapolitan Fireman" by Scarpetta, "The Madwoman of Chaillot" by Jean Giraudoux, and "The Bell Cap" by Luigi Pirandello.
- His return as a film actor came in 1980, when he played the part of the lieutenant who arrests the producer Bonivento in "Arrivano i gatti" by Carlo Vanzina: it was his last film until 1997, when he took part in the documentary "L'uomo dal cigaro in bocca", a 39-minute short film by Mario Sesti.
- He made his film debut in a main role, as the vile seducer Peppino Califano in Pietro Germi's "Seduced and Abandoned".
- Among the other important directors he has worked with are Pier Paolo Pasolini for "Love and Rage", Renato Castellani for "3 Nights of Love", Bruno Corbucci, Pasquale Festa Campanile, Lucio Fulci and Lina Wertmuller.
- He was the son of two Sicilian language theatrical actors.
