Tilo Prückner was born on 26 October 1940 in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. He was an actor, known for The NeverEnding Story (1984), Iron Sky (2012) and Der Willi-Busch-Report (1979). He was married to Ute Paffendorf and Brigitte. He died on 2 July 2020 in Berlin, Germany.

Father of three sons, the youngest died at age of 3 in 1985.

Often played loners, outsiders and eccentrics.

Lives on in Berlin and on his farm in Lower Bavaria.

Uncle of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm2378560/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Christoph Prückner</a>.
