Jim Pruette was a very popular morning DJ on the alternative rock station KLOL - 1.1.1 on the FM dial. He and Mark Stevens were on the air for many years doing comedy skits and playing practical jokes. They altered their voices to add additional characters to their skits such as Big Bruno and Uncle Waldo. In a surprising move management of the station changed the format from Alt rock to Hispanic Hip Hop.
