Biography

Sergei Prokhanov was born on December 29, 1952 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He is an actor and director, known for Teatr Luny ili Kosmicheskaya durochka (2007), Trizhdy o lyubvi (1981) and Solntse, snova solntse (1977). He has been married to Tatiana Prokhanova since 1980. They have one child.

Founder in 1990 and artistic director of the Theater of Moon, Moscow, Russia.

Was briefly an associated member of the Italian communist party before it was dissolved in 1991. His membership was a precondition for a tour of his theatrical troupe in Italy which was partially sponsored by the Italian communist party.
