Biography

Flor Procuna was born on May 20, 1952 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She was an actress, known for Alguien nos quiere matar (1970), Un toro me llama (1968) and Renzo, el gitano (1973). She died on March 1, 2025 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Flor Procuna Chamorro began her artistic career at the age of 16 with her participation in the soap opera Los inconformes (1968) in 1968.

She was the daughter of the renowned bullfighter Luis Procuna and Consuelo Chamorro Bernard, who tragically died in a plane crash in 1995, when Aviateca flight GU-901 crashed.

Her grandmother, Agustina Bernard, was a prominent theater actress in Nicaragua, which underlines the artistic influence that marked Flor's life from an early age.
