- Nadezhda Privalova is a Soviet animator and art director of animation. She studied in the studio of painting named after Ilya Repin, in the years 1930-1932 - in izotehnicum at IZOGIZ. Since 1932 she was an artist-animator in Mezhrabpomfilm; worked with directors Vladimir Suteev, Ivan Ivanov-Vano, Valentina Brumberg and Zinaida Brumberg. From 1934 Privalova worked in the animation workshop of "Mosfilm", from 1936 - at the Soyuzmultfilm studio. As an artist-animator she took part in the creation of more than forty films, many of which were awarded prizes at international film festivals. Since 1957, together with Tatyana Sazonova, she has been the production designer for almost all the animated films produced by her husband, director Leonid Amalrik.
