- The final version of Cromwell (1970), at one stage, was one hundred eighty minutes long, but it was cut down to one hundred forty-one minutes, deleting several featured roles in the process including: Felix Aylmer (in his final film) as an archbishop, and Bryan Pringle, Peter Bennett, Tony Caunter, George A. Cooper, and Willam Lucas.
- I went to RADA at the age of 17 and lasted one term before being kicked out. It was Christmas Eve when I got the letter telling me not to bother to go back. It was a horrible Christmas that year. [Bryan was later re-accepted and won a gold medal]
