Biography

Jana Preissová was born on February 7, 1948 in Plzen, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. She is an actress, known for Rád (1994), Cyrano z Bergeracu (1971) and Capricious Summer (1968).

She was director Václav Vorlícek's first choice for the part of Cinderella in his film Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973). However, due to her pregnancy the part was eventually played by Libuše Šafránková.
