- Eric trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has appeared at most of the country's top repertory and major theatres, both in London and round the country, where plays included Deathtrap, Run For Your Wife, Good Golly Miss Molly, Absent Friends,The Threepenny Opera, Oliver, and Cabaret. While not being a recognisable face, he has done quite a bit of television, including Peak Practice, Heartbeat,, Square Deal, and playing four different characters on Coronation Street. When not acting, he produces film and television scripts with his writing partner Peter Crokett. He is married with two daughters.

The fine cast of this acclaimed production also included Rachel Denning as Penelope Toop, Francesca Mills as Ida the Maid, Francesca Papagno as Miss Skillon, Phil Holden as Lance-Corporal Clive Winton, Raymond Griffiths as The Intruder, Jon Key as The Bishop of Lax, Jamie John as The Reverend Arthur Humphrey, and Peter Bonner as Sergeant Towers.
