Patricia Potter was born on 3 March 1975 in Canterbury, Kent, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Shakespeare in Love (1998), Red Lights (2012) and Holby City (1999). She has been married to Jim Down since 19 May 2007. They have two children.

In 2006, she successfully completed the London Marathon in a time of
4:53:54, raising over £3,000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

She is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
(LAMDA).
