Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Michelle Poteet Lisanti was born in 1954 in Elmhurst, Illinois, USA. She is a writer, known for Days of Our Lives (1965), One Life to Live (1968) and Sunset Beach (1997). She has been married to Richard Lisanti since 1979. They have two children.

During the writers&#39; strike of 2007-2008, she chose financial core status with the Writers Guild of America and continued working.

She was the youngest Headwriter ever when she was hired at the age of 26 to be Headwriter of Days of Our Lives in 1980.

This veteran writer has one of the longest writing careers of any writer in daytime TV, working continuously since 1979.
