  • Film and theatre director, screenwriter, writer, teacher, occasional musician, and holder of a degree in Social Communication. He has directed and written more than thirty feature films, around ten stage plays, and TV series. He is a Full Professor at the National University of Rosario and at the Higher Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts of Santa Fe. He has also taught at the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba).

    Among his films stand out the trilogy *El Asadito*, *El Cumple* and *La Peli*, as well as *Días de Mayo*, *Brisas Heladas* and *El Presi*. He created Argentina’s first live-cinema experience with *Simulacro*, produced during the pandemic, screened at an open-air cinema and broadcast live via streaming in February 2021. In 2024 he completed his first English-language feature, *Desafinado*, starring Harry Chambarry and Oscar-nominated actress Cathy Moriarty. In 2024 he presented *Singapur*, an experimental film with Julieta Cardinali, and in 2025 he is set to release *Romeo y Ofelia*, his most recent film, which premiered in the Official Competition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival in December 2024.

    His work has been the subject of retrospectives both in Argentina and abroad, in cities such as Paris, Madrid and Tel Aviv. As an exhibiting artist in the fields of visual arts and video art, he has participated repeatedly in the National Salon at the Castagnino Museum and in various international video art festivals. He has published the books *Cine Instantáneo* (2004), *Guiones Cinematográficos* (2014), *Del Cine Instantáneo al Cine en Vivo* (2022) and *Cine en llamas* (2024). For the past few years, he has alternated film directing with theatre, and occasionally performs with his rock and experimental music group *La Banda de las Películas Caseras*.
