Biography

Howard Post was born on November 2, 1926 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Thundercats (1985), Horning In (1965) and Poor Little Witch Girl (1965). He was married to Bobbie Post. He died on May 21, 2010 in Hackensack, New Jersey, USA.

Animator, comic strip illustrator, storyboard writer and producer Post was trained at the Hastings School of Animation in New York City and began as an in-betweener at Famous Studios, earning $24 a week. He succeeded Seymour Kneitel as president of the Paramount Animation Studio between 1964 and 1966. He was then replaced by Shamus Culhane.
