Diminutive, brunette 20th Century Fox contract player in films of the 1930's and 40's, often in comedic roles. With actor Dick Curtis and husband Russell Hayden, she co-founded the Pioneertown Corporation in 1946. Her nickname, 'Mousie', stuck after Darryl F. Zanuck, studio boss at Fox, called her "a cute little mouse".
