Anna Porter was born on November 17, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary. She is a writer, known for The Bookfair Murders (2000) and Happy Days: Falling Stars (2006). She is married to Julian Porter.

She was awarded the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on November 1, 1991 for her services to communications in Canada.
