Emilia Popescu

Emilia Popescu is a Romanian film and theater actress. She graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography "I. L. Caragiale" in 1988. Her film debut was in the movie Morometii. Other notable roles are In fiecare zi mi-e dor de tine(1988), Divort... din dragoste(1992) and Marocco(2021). She played on the stage of the Bulandra Theater and of the Comedy Theater in Bucharest. She was part of the jury for Dansez pentru tine. In 2002 she was decorated with the Knight of the National Order For Merit.
