Biography

Poncie Ponce was born on April 10, 1933 in Maui, Hawaii, USA. He was an actor, known for Hawaiian Eye (1959), G.I. Joe: The Movie (1987) and The Gallant Men (1962). He was married to Sherry Luke. He died on July 19, 2013 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Has three daughters: Debra, Paula, Margaret and four grandsons.

Was friends with his Hawaiian Eye (1959) co-star, Connie Stevens.

Competed on All-Star Family Feud with his fellow cast mates from Hawaiian Eye: Connie Stevens, Troy Donahue, Grant Williams and Anthony Eisley against the cast of Lost in Space.

He began in show business by playing the ukulele in Munich nightclubs.

Played Kim in Hawaiian Eye and was the only actual Hawaiian in the series.
