Biography

Jean-Daniel Pollet was born on June 20, 1936 in La Madeleine, Nord, France. He was a director and writer, known for L'acrobate (1976), A Bullet Through the Heart (1966) and Line of Sight (1960). He died on September 9, 2004 in Cadenet, Vaucluse, France.

In April 1989, he was almost killed and his health permanently changed when a train he was filming struck him and he got 27 fractures.

His life companion was editor Françoise Geissler. They had a daughter but never married.
