Biography

Andrzej Piszczatowski was a Polish actor and theater director. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw in 1968. His acting career included performances at Teatr Wybrzeze in Gdansk and Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw. In addition to his stage and screen work, Piszczatowski was a co-founder of the underground Teatr Domowy during martial law in Poland. He was honored with the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis and the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
