Biography

Eduardo Pinto was born in 1968. He studied in the national Institute of cinematography in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the nineties. He has an extensive experience in the film industry, because he works in 30 feature films as assistant of camera and photography. He produced a lot of shorts for cinema. He directed or was photo director in more than 40 video clips of various artists, like La Mosca, Diego Torres, León Gieco, Carlos Ponce, Luciano Pereyra, amongst others.

Argentine-Portuguese, is a director, screenwriter and director of photography. He began his career as a film technician and cinematographer, directing the photography of several films such as Gustavo Fontan's Where the Sun Falls, Pablo Nisenson's Ángel la Diva y yo, Oscar Frenkel's The Origin of Sadness. Director of the documentary Good morning day on the life of Miguel Abuelo premiered at Bafici. He directed short commercials for MTV. He directed for Disney Channel, Paka Paka and Canal Encuentro where he directed the documentary Carnaval fiesta popular. He directed seven chapters of the unitary Time to think, fiction for Public TV. He directed the experimental short film Circulo Selección Mar del Plata 2015. He directed and photographed the web series Cinéfilo for UN3TV; winner of best director at the international festival of web series in Rome. He wrote, directed and photographed the feature film Corralón, presented at the BAFICI. Together with Fernanda Ribeiz, he co-directed the children's feature film Natacha, based on the novels by Luis Pescetti. He directed and photographed the film Wisdom. He photographed the Apache series directed by Adrián Caetano and broadcast by Netflix. He directed the feature film VIP which is in post-production.
