Mini bio

  • Andrew read English at York University, then gained a distinction in American Poetry from the University of Essex, but thankfully for the literary world turned his full attention to music shortly thereafter. Developing a compositional style blending orchestral forces with electronic treatments, Andrew won an Emmy® in 2019 for his score for 'Stolen Daughters: Kidnapped By Boko Haram' (HBO), was nominated for a BAFTA in 2020 for 'War In The Blood' (BBC2), scored Oscar-nominated 'Watani My Homeland in' 2017' (ITN), and was nominated for an Emmy for his score for 'The Battle for Marjah' in 2013 (HBO).
