Birgitta Pettersson was born on January 7, 1939 in Uppsala, Uppsala län, Sweden. She is an actress, known for The Virgin Spring (1960), The Magician (1958) and Salka Valka (1954).

Blonde Swedish actress, featured in several films by director Ingmar Bergman. She graduated from the Malmö City Theatre Academy in 1959.
