Gastone Pescucci was born on July 10, 1926 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He was an actor, known for Zio Vania di Anton Cechov (1990). He died on October 28, 1999 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

His work as a voice actor has been prevalent for various cartoons , such as Tom & Jerry (voice of Clint Clobber), UFO Robot Grendizer (voice of Boss), Maya the Bee (voice of Kurt), The Smurfs (the first voice of Gargamel also in The Smurfs' Song, which is the first theme song of the animated series performed by Cristina D'Avena ).

Pescucci was mainly active on stage, where he alternated between classics and modern works.

Towards the end of the 1970s, Pescucci also collaborated assiduously with the private Radio Hanna, for which he created many programmes drawing from his vast repertoire.
