Biography

L.A. Winters is an actress, producer, and writer whose recent credits include the Netflix series The Hunting Wives, a lead role in TV One's Under The Influence, and a supporting role in Sanaa Lathan's On The Come Up. Recent stage highlights include Things I Know To Be True by Andrew Bovell and the immersive original production Evening with the Fitz through Atlanta Original Arts. She is also widely recognized for her earlier work alongside her identical twin sister, Linda, as a 1980s Doublemint Twin.

Her career began at age ten in community theater, eventually progressing to professional dance at Six Flags, commercial modeling, and acting studies in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York City, where she performed as Corey in Barefoot in the Park off-off-Broadway.

After a hiatus to raise three children and lead a large church arts program, she returned to the industry as an active member of the Atlanta film community. Through her company, A Thousand Word Pictures, LLC, she writes, produces, and performs in original content, including theatrical productions and short films. Additionally, she is an A.C.E. certified personal trainer and RYT yoga instructor. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their three adult children and their spouses, and their four grandchildren.
