Dorne M. Pentes

Dorne Pentes was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and can trace his family lineage back to Ralph Waldo Emerson. The son of a sign painter and graphic artist, Dorne trained as an actor before moving to making films in 1990. Dorne lives in Charlotte and has written and directed a number of indie features, including two videos of poetry for children called 'Flower Child-Beautiful Poetry for Beautiful Children. In June 2023 he began working on a film about his late father's theme park ,The Land of Oz. In his day job, Dorne is a partner in WonderWorld, a video production company in business for over twenty years.
