Chadwick Pelletier is an American-Canadian entertainment executive and multi-hyphenate talent, working as an actor-writer-director-producer with award-winning work spanning independent film, television, and international festival leadership. He is best known as the founder and Executive Director of the DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF) and for his work at Veritas Film & Television.
Transitioning from early television credits in the late 1990s, including work with DIC Entertainment and MTV, Pelletier dedicated his career to narrative and scripted development. He optioned his first feature to a major studio in 2001 and subsequently established Veritas Film & Television, operating across Los Angeles and Vancouver to develop original material and television content.
In 2010, he founded CoffeeRing Entertainment to produce short-format narrative content, earning festival recognition for his award-winning independent narrative shorts such as Boxed (2015), For Blood (2015) and She Will Be Loved (2017). In 2024, he launched FilmBC Group Inc. to facilitate cross-border U.S. & Canada co-productions for narrative projects.
In 2017, Pelletier founded the DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF) alongside its screenwriting platform, Storyline. Headquartered at AMC Theatres at The Grove in Los Angeles, the festival honors independent works as the "Architects of Cinema." Under his direction, DIFF has recognized major industry figures, including Michael J. Fox, Emile Hirsch, and Randall Wallace with their Visionary Award®. Pelletier also expanded the festival's global footprint through the FilmAfrica initiative, establishing international cultural outreach and co-production pathways in Nairobi, Kenya.
