- Sue Pelino is a Senior Re-recording Mixer & Sound Designer in NYC.
In 1997, Sue joined the team at Sony Music Studios where she mixed performance specials such as VH1 Storytellers, Tony Bennett: An American Classic and Elton John: The Red Piano. She has been nominated for ten Primetime Emmy Awards and in 2017, Sue won her third Emmy for Outstanding Sound Mixing for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (HBO). Sue has also won the TEC Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement, Audio Post-Production Engineer for Television.
Sue Pelino has worked with many great artists including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Elton John, U2, Mariah Carey, Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper and The Eagles... and ADR recording with Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain. In addition to music specials for television, Sue was Re-recording Mixer on notable documentaries including Nuclear Family (HBO), Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi (Hulu), Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President (CNN) and Tom Petty Somewhere You Feel Free (Theatrical/YouTube).
When not mixing, Sue enjoys playing guitar, singing and listening to albums with friends!
